SEO Toolkit WL is designed with privacy as a core principle. We explicitly do not collect, store, or process:

3. Data Processing

When you actively open SEO Toolkit WL and initiate analysis, the extension reads the following from the currently active tab only:

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google PageSpeed Insights API (Optional)

When you explicitly click "Run Analysis" in the Performance tab, the extension sends the current page URL to:

• Service: Google PageSpeed Insights API
• Provider: Google LLC
• Data sent: URL of the active page only
• Purpose: Retrieve Lighthouse performance scores
• Legal basis: Your explicit consent (button click)

This request is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google APIs Terms of Service. You can use the entire extension without ever triggering this API call.

4.2 Chrome Web Store

Extension installation, updates, and usage statistics are handled by Google Chrome Web Store in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive individual user data from this process.

5. Permissions Justification

SEO Toolkit WL requests the following browser permissions solely for technical functionality:

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since no personal data is collected, there is no data to retain or delete. All analysis results exist only in your browser's memory during the active session and are discarded when you close the extension popup.

User preferences stored via the storage permission can be cleared by:

1. Opening Chrome Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data
2. Uninstalling the extension

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Right to access: We do not store your data, so there is nothing to access.
• Right to deletion: No personal data is retained; uninstalling the extension removes all local preferences.
• Right to portability: Export functionality (PDF/CSV) allows you to save analysis results locally.
• Right to object: You may uninstall the extension at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

SEO Toolkit WL is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. International Data Transfers

All data processing occurs locally on your device. The optional PageSpeed Insights API request sends data to Google's servers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. This transfer is subject to Google's data processing terms.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
